Symco Union Thresherman’s National Antique Tractor Pulling Rules

1.      Pure Stock Antique I-1938 or older             3200, 3500, 4000. 4500, 5000, 6000,7000

2.      Pure stock Antique II-1939-1953      3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000

3.      Improved Antique I-1938 or older   3500, 4000, 4750, 6000, 7000, Unlimited

4.      Improved Antique II-1939-1953       3500, 4250, 5000, 6000, 7000, Unlimited

5.      Modified 4000, 5500, 7000

6.      Judges have rights to look under hoods and curtains.

7.     Only one pull per tractor and must be operated in a safe manner on and off the track at all times. (MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN CLEVIS)

8.      Anyone tampering with another tractor will be disqualified

9.      Driver must remain in seat with one hand on steering wheel, no jumping or  bouncing, but leaning will be allowed.

10.  No crawlers, tire chains, or duals

11.  Steel wheels will pull last in class and one extension rim allowed

12.  Ridged draw bar must not exceed 20 inches in height or be closer than 18 inches to center of axel

13.  Tractors must stop if flagged.

14.  Tractors (88, 44, G, M, UB, U Molines) cannot pull under 5000

15.  Tractors without wheelie bars will follow the track judge’s rule for height and must be kept under control. If not you will be stopped and measurement will be taken at that point.

16.  Any tractor violating track boundaries or if anything falls off the tractor before pin is pulled will be disqualified.

17.  Any driver 14 to 18 years of age must have parent’s signature and Tractor Safety Class with No Exceptions!

18.  Engines will be controlled by throttle lever with positive stop only. No Vise Grips, strings, Wires, or foot feed allowed.

19.  Tractors 5000 and under limited to 15.5 tires. 5001 and up 18.4 tire size in all classes.

20.  No using torque amplifiers, or shift on the go.

21.  Add on weights not exceed 24” ahead of the front casting, or 24” behind center of rear axle, or beyond original platform. Weights must not interfere with hooking the tractor, (pure stock tractors wheel weights only see pure stock rules on weights.
